it’s beating
in your chest
The cool breeze
of the fan gently dusting
our skin
Warm
your hand upon my
neck
quieting the thoughts
in my head
My head on your chest
I feel and hear
my heart beating
Your scent fills my
nostrils
I’m warm to my toes
you twitch as you fall asleep
and your arms
hold me safe
You stole my heart
The sky’s blue today
and everytime I shift
you stir
You talk in your sleep, too
I know I stole your

My mom always seems to be right. Sometimes its important that Marc and I take time just for each other…it’s really good for my writing too
